Brother Guy Dumoulin dedicated 34 years of his life to the labour movement before his retirement from the Department in December 1997.  He began his career as a young man on the tools in St. Lambert, Quebec.  He joined the United Brotherhood of Carpenters of Joiners of America on April 10, 1964 and it wasn’t long after that his career excelled.  He held various positions and titles within the organization both on a local and national level.  He was elected to the position of Director for the Quebec BCTC in 1974 where he was instrumental in negotiations.
